Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Gontier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gontier comes to the cage accompanied by Three Days Grace - Never Too Late. Miller has chosen Raining Blood by Slayer as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Miller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Miller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gontier misses with a takedown attempt
and Miller counters with a left and a right that stings Gontier.
Miller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Miller connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gontier momentarily.
A head kick misses from Gontier.
Miller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gontier.
Gontier drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miller controls Gontier momentarily but Gontier frees himself.
Gontier pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Gontier from controlling successfully.
Gontier drops back, looking for a kneebar! Miller looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Miller looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Miller!
Gontier tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.
Gontier stops Miller from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gontier, who protects the arm well.
Miller is trying to get an arm triangle but Gontier is defending well.
Gontier is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gontier is pressing down on Miller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Miller works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gontier is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miller's back!
Gontier has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Miller is in real trouble here. Gontier gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Miller is tapping out! Gontier wins by rear naked choke!
