Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joesph Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronntel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Joesph Walls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronntel Jones! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones closes the distance and clinches. Jones successfully pulls guard.
Walls would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Walls looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Walls from standing up. Walls gets to his feet - Jones follows without any prompting. Walls takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones goes for a double leg but Walls avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walls continues to drive forward. Jones leaves Walls with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones fails with the takedown and Walls counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Joesph Walls has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronntel Jones. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Walls manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Walls counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Walls throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily. Walls stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walls wants it to stay on the feet. As Jones looks to move away, Walls throws a big counter combo but Jones just gets out of the way. Jones throws a series of punches but Walls moves out of range. Walls throws a big counter combination but Jones scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jones looks winded! Jones tries for a takedown but Walls sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walls avoids it really well and circles away. As Jones looks to move away, Walls throws a big counter combo but Jones just gets out of the way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walls shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones swinging wildly here.

Jones checks a leg kick. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walls avoids it really well and circles away. Ronntel Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones misses with a head kick.
Walls appears to be looking for a big counter. Walls shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Walls finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walls decides to stand up. Jones fails to land the takedown. Walls closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard. Walls decides to stand and escape the position. Walls misses with a low kick.
Walls misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walls as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walls closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Walls getting side control. Walls stands up from half guard. Walls shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jones with a poor takedown and Walls counters with an outside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walls throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones tries to counter with a clinch but Walls shakes him off and moves away. Walls fails with a takedown attempt. Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Walls, before circling back to the center of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joesph Walls dominated that round. That's time! Walls's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Walls, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Walls against the cage but Walls circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Walls fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Walls displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones. Joesph Walls is winning the standup battle so far. Walls fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Walls persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet! Jones has Walls up against the cage in a clinch.
Walls content to slow the pace in the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action! Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Walls is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walls wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Walls will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Walls seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Walls would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Walls wants to stand and escape but instead Jones has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Walls looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walls keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Walls looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walls wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him. Walls is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Walls preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jones moves into the clinch. Walls tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Walls is defending well against a takedown attempt. Joesph Walls has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronntel Jones.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Walls manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Walls looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jones is defending well. Walls quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jones has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Walls celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
