Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sidney McMahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMahon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Downeaster Alexa. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Terrell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sidney McMahon! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMahon throws a series of punches but Terrell moves out of range. A shot to the liver by Terrell. Beautiful body shot. Terrell just misses with a punch to the body.
McMahon looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. McMahon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McMahon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Terrell did well to prevent McMahon getting side control. Terrell is looking to improve his position.
McMahon missing with the ground and pound from half guard. McMahon is working for a kimura but Terrell is defending it quite comfortably.
McMahon wants to take a breather but Terrell is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McMahon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Terrell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Terrell wants to get back to full guard. Terrell is looking to control McMahon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Terrell avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Terrell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McMahon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. McMahon is taking a breather. Terrell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Terrell is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McMahon scores with a couple of nice shots. McMahon is thwarting Terrell's attempts to control the position. Terrell throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Terrell keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Terrell is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute McMahon jumps into side control! The referee asks McMahon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. McMahon prefers to stall for the moment though. Terrell is trying to improve his position. Terrell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McMahon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Terrell down.
McMahon tries to move into full mount but can't pass Terrell's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Terrell's face as McMahon controls the position. McMahon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Terrell keeps working. McMahon working the head with strikes. Terrell is looking to regain half guard here but McMahon keeps moving and retains side control. McMahon lands some shots froms side control. Terrell wants to control but McMahon postures up. McMahon scoring with punches and elbows. McMahon trying to control the position but Terrell is working away. McMahon working away. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Terrell tries to buck McMahon off but McMahon is having none of it. Terrell seems a little lost for a moment, as McMahon dominates the positioning. It looks like McMahon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. McMahon wants to control but Terrell is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McMahon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Terrell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McMahon in side control lands a decent elbow. McMahon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Terrell throws a few strikes from the bottom but McMahon takes advantage and mounts! Terrell is squirming around, avoiding McMahon's attempts to control the action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McMahon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McMahon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. McMahon avoids the attempt from Terrell to control. Terrell is squirming around, avoiding McMahon's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terrell wants to hold on but McMahon pushes him away. McMahon lands a big elbow. McMahon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Terrell is looking to escape. Terrell is desperately trying to improve his position but McMahon has a good base and remains in mount. McMahon looking to control and managing it successfully. Terrell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
McMahon controlling from mount. Terrell is squirming around, avoiding McMahon's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terrell swings for the body but McMahon moves out of range.
Terrell lands with a hook. McMahon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Terrell swings for the body but McMahon moves out of range.
McMahon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Terrell, pushing him back against the cage. McMahon gets control of Terrell's arms and successfully pulls guard. McMahon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Terrell won't allow McMahon to sweep him here. Terrell lands a couple of elbows. McMahon doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Terrell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McMahon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McMahon trying to control the position.
Terrell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McMahon on the ground. McMahon looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Terrell is defending well. McMahon quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Terrell has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McMahon celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
