Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Carter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots in for a takedown but Star shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Star tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Star somewhat.
Star fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carter sprawls well initially but Star persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Star seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Star looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Star connects with a nice short shot to Carter's temple.

Star slips a nice elbow through Carter's hands, connecting with Carter's forehead.

Star lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Star lands a nice short elbow.
Carter is rocked!
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Star. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Star working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Carter is still in real trouble! Can Star finish him?
Carter on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Star is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Star fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Star! Carter is hurt baaadly! Star is firing away with more strikes - Carter is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Star!
