Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Tremblay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaisa Koal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julian Tremblay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shaisa Koal! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tremblay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Koal did well to prevent Tremblay getting side control. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tremblay takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. That's one minute gone in the round. Koal is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tremblay scores with a couple of nice shots. Koal avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tremblay. Tremblay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Koal with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Koal blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tremblay. Tremblay is trying to control the action in half guard but Koal is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tremblay thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Koal's head. Tremblay lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Koal can do anything to dispel that myth. Tremblay throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tremblay scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tremblay trying to control from half guard but Koal is working away. Tremblay not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tremblay is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Tremblay prevents Koal from improving his position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Tremblay trying to control from Koal's half guard. Koal has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Koal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tremblay's corner is telling him to maintain position. Tremblay wants to control from the top but Koal keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tremblay's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tremblay throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Koal works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Koal keeping moving, preventing Tremblay from controlling successfully. Tremblay is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Koal is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Koal lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tremblay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Koal. That one must have hurt. Koal fakes the leg kick and cracks Tremblay in the body. Koal lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tremblay takes a kick to the side of the head. Koal lands with a kick to the temple. Tremblay shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Julian Tremblay has been cut. Shaisa Koal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Koal thumps Tremblay with a low kick. Koal with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tremblay tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Koal counters with a body kick that stops Tremblay in his tracks momentarily. Tremblay on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Koal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Julian Tremblay will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Julian Tremblay's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Koal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tremblay has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A slapping leg kick lands for Koal.
Tremblay with a lazy takedown attempt and Koal counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. A solid leg kick lands there for Koal.
Tremblay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Koal. Tremblay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Koal chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tremblay takes a kick to the side of the head. Koal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koal wants it to stay on the feet. Tremblay doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Tremblay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koal fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tremblay. Shaisa Koal seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koal lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tremblay closes the distance but Koal moves to the side and Koal counters with a slapping leg kick. Tremblay is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Tremblay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Koal's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Koal scores with a nice body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tremblay. Julian Tremblay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Koal dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tremblay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Koal. That one must have hurt. Tremblay tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Koal lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A nice inside leg kick there by Koal. That's going to slow Tremblay down. Koal looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Koal throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tremblay tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A slapping body kick lands there for Koal. Koal connects with a leg kick. Tremblay looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Koal looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Koal throws a nice outside leg kick. Tremblay takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Koal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Koal with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Oooooh!!! Koal has knocked Tremblay down with a huge combo! Koal steps away and waves a wobbly Tremblay back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Tremblay is rocked! Shaisa Koal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tremblay crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Koal - the referee stops the clock and Tremblay gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Koal. Tremblay manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Oh Tremblay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tremblay tries to clinch but Koal moves out of range. Tremblay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Koal. Tremblay seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koal pushes Tremblay away with a front kick. Tremblay will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Koal throws a quick inside leg kick. Koal connects with a stiff jab that staggers Tremblay - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
