Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Yakuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petey Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza comes into the arena with The Legend of Zelda, Overworld blaring out of the sound system. Ichi Yakuza could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Petey Flowers's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 45 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichi Yakuza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Petey Flowers! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flowers gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yakuza looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Flowers content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flowers stands up and we're back to a striking position. Yakuza has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Yakuza. The fight moves into the clinch position. Flowers should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Yakuza wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Yakuza wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Flowers has him pressed against the cage. Yakuza being controlled against the cage. Yakuza is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Flowers has hold of one of Yakuza's legs. Yakuza is fighting the takedown attempt but Flowers gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Yakuza keeping full guard, as Flowers tries to pass. Flowers is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yakuza wants to stand and escape but Flowers is having none of it. Flowers missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flowers stays in close to Yakuza's body and controls the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Flowers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yakuza to the mat! Yakuza manages to get full guard. Flowers controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Flowers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Flowers.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flowers connects with a couple of short punches. Flowers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Yakuza's head. Flowers is stalling in the full guard. Flowers decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Flowers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Flowers controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petey Flowers dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Flowers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Flowers in particular looking to stall. Yakuza won't allow Flowers to pass to mount. Flowers decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. A head kick misses from Yakuza. Flowers unleashes a big counter combination but Yakuza bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Flowers shoots in and bounces Yakuza off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flowers slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flowers looking to pass the guard. Flowers lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yakuza can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flowers controls the pace. Flowers stands up from guard. Let's bang! Flowers scores with a takedown into Yakuza's guard. Yakuza can't keep his opponent in guard - Flowers advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Flowers takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Yakuza is rocked! Flowers working over Yakuza with some ground and pound. Yakuza looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Oh Yakuza is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Flowers sitting and controlling from the half guard. Flowers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Flowers maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Yakuza could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Flowers has cracked it and Yakuza is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Flowers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Petey Flowers! In defeat, Ichi Yakuza stepped up to the mic, saying 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
