Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Nunez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Tuke!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Nunez.
Tuke cracks Nunez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nunez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tuke connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nunez scrambles back to his feet.


It looks like Matt Nunez has been cut.
Nunez checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nick Tuke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tuke defending well as Nunez loads up on a big left hand.
Tuke appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Tuke moves into the clinch.
Tuke pressing his opponent against the cage.
Nunez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nunez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Nunez takes a shot to the head.
Nunez tries to circle away but Tuke has him pinned against the cage.

Tuke breaks the clinch.
Tuke jabs Nunez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nunez takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Tuke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tuke keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nunez's efforts to push away.
Nunez wants to break free but Tuke has control.
Nunez is trying to push Tuke away but Tuke has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Tuke prevents Nunez from breaking the clinch.
Nunez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Come on Tuke - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Tuke taking a breather.
Tuke continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tuke takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Nunez is trying to break the clinch but Tuke has him pressed against the cage.
Tuke is struggling to control the position.
Nunez has a couple of punches blocked by Tuke.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Nick Tuke.
Nunez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Tuke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Good body shot from Tuke.
We've been informed that Tuke has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Nunez tries to break free but Tuke pushes him back against the cage.
Nunez is trying to force a seperation but Tuke has the dominant position.
Tuke blocking some punches.
Nunez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Nunez is trying to push Tuke away but Tuke has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nunez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tuke has him pressed against the cage.
Tuke stalling against the cage.
Nunez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Tuke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Tuke has knocked Nunez down with a huge combo! Tuke steps away and waves a wobbly Nunez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Nunez is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Tuke has cracked Nunez with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Tuke lands another huge swinging hook and Nunez tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Nunez, before Tuke can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nick Tuke!
Nick Tuke seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
