Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Scorston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hilo Falo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scorston's entrance music is The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony. A fine choice. The key to victory for Nick Scorston has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Scorston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hilo Falo! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Scorston is fighting off a takedown attempt but Falo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Scorston to the mat. Scorston regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Scorston is looking for a triangle here but Falo uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Falo taking a breather here. Scorston can't do much from the bottom here. Scorston's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Falo decides to stand back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scorston moves away from the strike by Falo. Falo misses the jab. Scorston misses with a two punch combination.
Scorston fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Falo to the ground. Scorston is now in Falo's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scorston slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scorston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Falo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Scorston wants to control from the top but Falo keeps moving. Falo uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Scorston fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Falo gets a clinch. Scorston jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Falo walks away with a smile on his face. Scorston gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Scorston fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Scorston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scorston throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Falo misses with a body shot.
Scorston appears to be looking for a big counter. Scorston takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Falo drags the fight down to the ground.
Scorston is fighting to break Falo's control of his arms but Falo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Scorston trying to control the position from guard on top but Falo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Scorston looking to sit in guard and control but Falo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Falo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Falo fails to land with a series of punches.
Falo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Falo misses with a straight left. Scorston dives in for a single leg takedown but Falo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Scorston is breathing heavily. Falo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Falo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Scorston shoots for a takedown but Falo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Scorston shoots in for a double leg but Falo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A combination from Falo does no damage. Falo looks to land a combination but Scorston avoids it well. Falo gets the takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Falo decides to stand back up. Falo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Falo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Scorston is able to avoid easily. Falo chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Scorston avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Falo throws a sloppy head kick and Scorston moves out of range easily. Scorston takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Falo clinches up with Scorston and pushes him back against the cage. A hook to the body from Falo.
Scorston wants a takedown but no success here.
Falo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Scorston is trying to keep an underhook but Falo manages to get the takedown into half guard. Scorston pushes Falo off but Falo dives into side control.

Falo misses with a low kick. Falo stuffs the takedown attempt from Scorston. Scorston gets slowly back to his feet. Scorston uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Falo. Scorston half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Falo stuffs the takedown. Scorston is looking to land body kicks. Scorston fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Falo is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Scorston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Falo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scorston ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice leg kick lands there from Scorston. Nick Scorston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scorston drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scorston walks into a left hand. Falo pushes Scorston up against the cage in a clinch. Scorston misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nick Scorston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Scorston showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Falo.
Scorston will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Falo misses with a hook. Scorston ducked under it nicely. Falo connects with a leg kick. Scorston looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Falo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Scorston. Scorston slips a jab and a cross from Falo.
Scorston went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Scorston shoots in looking for a takedown. Falo tries to sprawl out of it but Scorston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Falo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Falo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Falo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Scorston did well to prevent Falo getting side control. Scorston pushes Falo off but Falo dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Falo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Falo decides to stand back up. Falo steps back and let's Scorston get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Falo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Scorston to the mat! Scorston manages to get full guard. Falo is standing up over Scorston. Scorston looks to escape but Falo dives into side control.
Falo moves into full mount! Falo controlling from mount. Let's hope that Falo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Scorston is looking to improve his position but Falo isn't that keen on the idea.

Hilo Falo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Scorston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Falo passes easily into side control. Nice work. Falo stands up and beckons Scorston to his feet. Hilo Falo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scorston is defended easily by Falo.

And that's the end of the fight! Hilo Falo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Falo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
