The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O'Sullivan misses with a hook. Xenophobus ducked under it nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Xenophobus! But no joy.
O'Sullivan punishes Xenophobus's body with a nice straight punch.
O'Sullivan takes a jab right on the kisser.
O'Sullivan tries to clinch but Xenophobus is having none of it.
Xenophobus misses the body punch
and O'Sullivan counters with a lovely straight right hand!

O'Sullivan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Xenophobus.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O'Sullivan throws a nice outside leg kick.
O'Sullivan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Xenophobus moves out of range of the leg kick from O'Sullivan.
Xenophobus now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Xenophobus thows a left - swing and a miss!
O'Sullivan cracks Xenophobus with a good jab.
O'Sullivan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

A big right from Xenophobus misses.
Xenophobus misses with an uppercut
and O'Sullivan counters with a shoot takedown. Xenophobus fights it but they end up in guard.
O'Sullivan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
O'Sullivan tries to free his leg and advance position but Xenophobus is retaining full guard.
O'Sullivan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and O'Sullivan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xenophobus looking for a guillotine here but O'Sullivan defends easily.
O'Sullivan has gone for a leg lock! Xenophobus slips out almost immediately though and dives into O'Sullivan's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

O'Sullivan looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Xenophobus is defending well. O'Sullivan quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Xenophobus has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! O'Sullivan celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Daniel O'Sullivan!
A very excited looking Daniel O'Sullivan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
