Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Snider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andreas Snider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timmy Jones! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones drives through with a takedown into guard. Snider is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Snider wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Snider escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jones is stalling in the full guard. Jones is in close to Snider's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snider looking for a sweep. Not yet Snider, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snider throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Snider has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though. Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Snider is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Snider looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jones controls from within his opponent's guard. Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Snider manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Snider in his guard. Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Snider will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Snider could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones has Snider pulled in close to control his posture. Jones striking off his back but it's not causing Snider any problems. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jones is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Snider stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. No joy there for Snider, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Snider shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely. And Jones tries to counter it with a takedown but Snider pushes his down on his head and steps out. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Jones preventing the sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones wants to control from the top but Snider keeps moving. Snider is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Timmy Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snider looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jones working the head and body with strikes. Snider is not content to let Jones control the position. A control attempt from Snider but he's now mounted! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snider is trying desperately to improve position. Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Snider to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Snider shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snider is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jones is standing up, even though he is in mount. Snider shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jones moves into the clinch. Jones lands with a light punch inside. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Snider's guard. Jones content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snider looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Snider throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Snider fails to land. Jones lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jones content to control rather than advance. Timmy Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Snider looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Jones pushes past his half guard into mount! Andreas Snider has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones lands a heavy elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Timmy Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
