Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis Kasongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Nordlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nordlund is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hate to say I told you so from the Hives. Luis Kasongo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Nordlund's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luis Kasongo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Nordlund!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasongo works Nordlund's body with a nice hook.
Nordlund throws a right hand that misses
and Kasongo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Nordlund fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kasongo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nordlund misses with a double jab
and Kasongo counters with a shoot takedown. Nordlund fights it but they end up in guard.
Kasongo throws a big elbow that misses.
Kasongo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kasongo wants to control from the top but Nordlund keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kasongo looking to sit in guard and control but Nordlund gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Nordlund wants to stand but Kasongo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Nordlund really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kasongo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kasongo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nordlund manages to get himself to full guard.

Kasongo advances position into side control!

Kasongo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Nordlund takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kasongo swings around for an armbar but Nordlund sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kasongo's guard.

Kasongo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kasongo is working an open guard so Nordlund takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kasongo moves out of range as Nordlund strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nordlund feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kasongo sprawling to the canvas! Kasongo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nordlund finish him?!
Kasongo is rocked!
Crack! Nordlund connects with the perfect overhand right and Kasongo falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Nordlund!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Nordlund!
An intense looking David Nordlund took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I knew this guy was unbeaten, but he didn't have a real opponent like me. Thats what happens when you're rolling with the big guys, baby. Like the Northern Light!'.
