PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Corbin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Bronie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronie has chosen Dude Love as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corbin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bronie sprawls well initially but Corbin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Corbin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bronie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Corbin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Corbin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bronie pulls his leg out and moves away.
