Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lemuel Hoffman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lilly Bean!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman slaps away a takedown attempt from Bean, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bean looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hoffman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bean closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bean scores with a hook to the body.
Bean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bean shoots for a double leg takedown but Hoffman sprawls well. He's pushed Bean's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hoffman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bean shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hoffman pinned against the cage. Hoffman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lemuel Hoffman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lilly Bean.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bean shoots in for a takedown but Hoffman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bean ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bean dives in and grabs Hoffman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hoffman pushes down on Bean's head and hops out.
Hoffman really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Bean is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hoffman appears to be looking for a big counter.

Hoffman breaks the clinch.
Hoffman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bean napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hoffman just content to control the position.
Bean wants to get back to his feet but Hoffman is dominant here and he's now got Bean's back!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoffman is cranking Bean's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bean! He's tightened the choke and Bean is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lemuel Hoffman!
