Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jones Perlham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jones Perlham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felipe Silva!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perlham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Perlham closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Silva quickly recovers to half guard.
Silva kicks Perlham off and gets back to his feet.
Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Perlham manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Perlham in his guard.
Perlham passes Silva's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Perlham landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Perlham throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Perlham content to control rather than advance.

Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Perlham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Perlham throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Perlham winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva won't allow Perlham to pass to mount.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Perlham is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Silva kicks Perlham off and gets back to his feet.
Perlham gets caught napping as Silva dives in and scores a takedown. Perlham manages to retain guard.
Perlham is trying to push Silva off with his feet but Silva grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Perlham's ankles and Perlham is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
