Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moka Moka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Braehler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moka Moka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Manuel Braehler!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Braehler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Braehler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Moka wants to clinch up but Braehler keeps it at a distance.

Moka moves into the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Braehler.
Moka missing with knees to the body.
Braehler stalling in the clinch but Moka improves position.
Braehler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moka just stands there and leans against the cage.
Braehler is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Moka gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Moka Moka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manuel Braehler.
Moka goes for a takedown attempt but Braehler pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Moka tries to clinch but Braehler is having none of it.
And Braehler tries to counter it with a takedown but Moka pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moka is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Braehler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Braehler.

Moka keeping moving, preventing Braehler from controlling successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Moka holds on and takes a little breather.
Moka is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Braehler dives into side control.
Braehler trying to control the position but Moka is working away.

Braehler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Moka tries to improve position but can't.
My spies in Cozad The Island inform me that Braehler has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Braehler wants to control but Moka is keeping him busy.

Braehler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moka is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Braehler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moka, who protects the arm well.
Moka is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Braehler asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Braehler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Braehler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Moka on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moka tries to get out of the position.
Moka can't do much from the bottom here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moka tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Braehler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Moka is working hard here to advance position.

Braehler stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Moka wants to clinch up but Braehler keeps it at a distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Braehler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Braehler somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manuel Braehler dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Braehler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Braehler blocks a head kick by Moka.

Moka clinches up with Braehler and pushes him back against the cage.
Moka pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Braehler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Moka smiles and moves away.

Moka gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Moka is trying to force a seperation but Braehler has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Moka is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Moka has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Braehler after a bit of a struggle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Braehler.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Braehler tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Moka avoids it.
Braehler is looking to control Moka's arms but Moka gets an underhook and turns him. Now Braehler has his back to the cage.
Moka tries to circle away but Braehler has him pinned against the cage.
Braehler has Moka pressed against the cage, preventing Moka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Braehler wants to get back to striking at distance but Moka won't allow it.
Moka throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Moka misses with an elbow strike.
Moka is looking to break free of the clinch but Braehler has double underhooks.

Braehler pulls guard.
Moka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Braehler is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Moka has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Braehler is proving hard to escape from.
Braehler working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Braehler is keeping the position for now.
Braehler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moka controls the pace.

Braehler is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Moka rolls with it to try and escape but Braehler cranks on the arm and Moka is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Manuel Braehler!
Moka Moka spoke after the fight, saying 'its not the end'.
