Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Scott!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummings throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Scott counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Scott controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cummings is on top in guard.

Cummings trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom.
Scott trying to keep a closed guard but Cummings is proving a slippery customer.
Cummings prevents Scott from getting back to his feet.
Cummings really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cummings seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cummings loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cummings moves in looking to clinch but Scott pushes him off.
Chris Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cummings throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Scott.
Cummings moves into range and connects with a jab.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Scott is standing up over Cummings. Cummings looks to escape but Scott dives into side control.

Cummings is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Scott is controlling him well.

Scott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Scott gets to mount! Cummings was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Cummings manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Cummings wants to stand back up but Scott manages to pass into side control.

Cummings takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cummings tries to improve position but can't.
Scott staying calm.
Cummings takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Scott in side control lands a decent elbow.
Cummings stops Scott from passing to mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cummings is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Cummings pushes Scott off looking to stand but Scott dives back in and keeps control.

Scott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cummings wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Scott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Scott looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Cummings is looking to improve his position but Scott isn't that keen on the idea.
Cummings is squirming around, avoiding Scott's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cummings sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Cummings looks like he's trying to stand up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Scott in particular looking to stall.
Scott wants to pass to mount but Cummings is defending the position.
Scott slows the pace down in half guard.

Scott is pressing down on Cummings's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cummings is holding on for now.

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cummings can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
