The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bollinger tries for a takedown but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bollinger misses with a series of wild punches.
Bollinger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diaz swivels and escapes. Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Diaz showed some decent athleticism there. Bollinger is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Bollinger manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bollinger is pulling down on Diaz's head. It's preventing any offense from Diaz, at least for the moment. Diaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Diaz wants to control from the top but Bollinger keeps moving. Bollinger keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass. Bollinger looking for a guillotine here but Diaz defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bollinger on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bollinger keeps working. Bollinger tries to get back to half guard but can't. Diaz advances to full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Diaz swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bollinger is now in Diaz's guard. A big mistake from Diaz there, giving up the dominant position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sean Bollinger will probably get the nod. That's time! Diaz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bollinger looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bollinger is looking to take a break and control but Diaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Diaz looking for a kimura from the bottom but Bollinger passes into side control! Bollinger wants to control but Diaz is keeping him busy. Bollinger is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diaz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. A lull in the action here as Bollinger stalls from top position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bollinger has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Diaz! Bollinger trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bollinger controlling from mount. Diaz is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Diaz tries to hold on but Bollinger pushes him away. Diaz looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Bollinger just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Bollinger is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Diaz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Bollinger is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Diaz taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Bollinger.
