Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Woodrow Joyner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimbo Slice will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Woodrow Joyner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Joyner has managed to free his arm - good work. Slice is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Joyner sees it coming and defends easily. Joyner trying to control from the bottom.
Joyner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Slice wants to lay and pray for a moment but Joyner keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice winds up and cracks Joyner with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Slice is looking to take a break and control but Joyner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice prevents Joyner from improving his position. Slice looks to land a strike but Joyner avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Slice wants to control from the top but Joyner keeps moving. Joyner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Joyner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Joyner has his foot on Slice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slice works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Slice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Joyner is keeping the position for now. Joyner working a defensive guard here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Slice lands a couple of elbows. Slice trying to control the position from guard on top but Joyner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Slice throws a strike but Joyner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Joyner stopping the sweep attempt from Slice. Slice lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joyner is trying to control the position but Slice postures up. Joyner can't keep his opponent in guard - Slice advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Slice seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Joyner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Slice is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Joyner is just riding it out for now. Slice eventually gives up the hold. Slice escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Slice shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Slice was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Slice cracks Joyner with an elbow. That is naaassty. Slice scores with a couple of short elbows.
It looks like Woodrow Joyner has been cut. Slice cracks Joyner with a big elbow. Joyner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slice wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Joyner is breathing heavily. Slice is trying to get an arm triangle but Joyner is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slice decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that round. The cut man is working on Woodrow Joyner's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Slice blocks the body kick.
Joyner misses with a takedown attempt and Slice scores with a counter punch that sends Joyner to the canvas! Slice smells blood - he's punishing Joyner with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Joyner has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kimbo Slice!
