Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Otumba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irvin Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stephen Otumba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Irvin Ross! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Ross lands with a straight right. Otumba didn't see that one coming. Ross fails to land with a series of punches.
Otumba drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ross sprawls and moves away. Ross scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Ross connects with a leg kick. Otumba looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ross lands with a nice body punch. Ross fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ross connects with the punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Otumba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ross can pounce on him.
Ross misses with a wild combination.
Otumba half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Otumba is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Ross. Otumba showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ross.
Otumba tries to counter with a takedown but Ross is quick to defend against it. Ross lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Otumba on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ross throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Otumba drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ross sprawls and moves away. Otumba on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Otumba on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Ross throws a combination that misses and Otumba counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Otumba wants to pass to mount but Ross is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross blocking the ground and pound attempt from Otumba. Otumba not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Otumba with the ground and pound but Ross uses the opportunity to regain guard. Otumba is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Otumba throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Otumba postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ross manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ross lands a jab-cross combination. Ross throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Otumba. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Irvin Ross dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ross lands with a cross. Irvin Ross is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ross stalks Otumba and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Otumba's face. Otumba staggers backwards, shaken. Otumba stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ross. Otumba takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross lands a jab to the nose. Ross lands a jab to the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross is looking to slow Otumba down with leg kicks. Ross throws a combination. Otumba tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Otumba takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ross is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Ross throws a nice outside leg kick. A jab lands there for Ross. Otumba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Otumba there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross cracks Otumba with a good jab. Ross scores with a one two! Otumba had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Irvin Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ross scores with a nice right hand.
Ross misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ross has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A right-left combo lands from Ross. Ross lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ross has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A left and a right from Ross both land. Nice combination. Otumba takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ross thumps Otumba with a low kick. Ross lands a jab-cross combination. Otumba showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross scores with a jab. Irvin Ross seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ross lands with a hook. Otumba tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ross moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ross scores with a decent looking hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Irvin Ross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Ross lands the left hand. Ross lands a jab-cross combination. Ross tries to bum rush Otumba with a series of wild strikes but Otumba uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

A nice leg kick lands there from Ross. Ross swings for the body but Otumba moves out of range.
Otumba changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Otumba takes a shot right to the bread basket. Otumba takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ross throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ross is working the combinations to good effect here. Ross cracks Otumba with a right hand to the side of the head. Ross throws a series of punches but Otumba avoids them all with ease. Otumba takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ross connects with a right hand. Otumba shakes it off. Ross listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Otumba at a distance.
Otumba doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ross bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Otumba takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Otumba gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Stephen Otumba has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Irvin Ross is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ross jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Irvin Ross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ross winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
