These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarred Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Siggy Duncan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duncan closes the distance and pushes Sullivan back into the cage.
Duncan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sullivan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Duncan manages to break the clinch.
Sullivan lands a nice looking body kick.
Sullivan swings away with a body shot that misses

and Duncan counters by clinching up.
Duncan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Sullivan is defending well against a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duncan lands an uppercut.
Duncan scores with a shoulder strike.
Duncan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Duncan has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Sullivan seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Duncan can turn it around.
Sullivan has had enough of the clinch but Duncan keeps him there for the moment.

Duncan lands a nice shot to the body.

Duncan tries a body shot but Sullivan blocks it.
Duncan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sullivan's efforts to push away.

Sullivan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duncan circles away.

Duncan moves into range and clinches up with Sullivan.

It looks like Jarred Sullivan has been cut.
Sullivan is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duncan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Sullivan with a big uppercut! Sullivan tries to clinch up but Duncan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Sullivan to the mat! Sullivan covers up and Duncan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Siggy Duncan!
The defeated Jarred Sullivan had this to say: 'It is what it is, I will be back.'.
