Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Elpidio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Kovacs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Edwin Elpidio has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Edwin Elpidio seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edwin Elpidio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
31 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walter Kovacs!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elpidio keeps the fight on the outside.
Elpidio tries a head kick but it misses.
Kovacs fails with the takedown
and Elpidio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Elpidio dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kovacs. That did some damage!
Elpidio works Kovacs's body with a nice hook.
Kovacs moves to clinch but Elpidio breaks away
and Elpidio counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Kovacs out cold! What a finish! Elpidio is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edwin Elpidio!
Edwin Elpidio seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
