Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between River Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Into Battle by Ensiferum. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, River Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but Schmidt avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schmidt swivels and escapes.
Schmidt lands a nice looking body shot.
Schmidt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A decent looking cross lands there for Schmidt.
Gracie definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Schmidt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for River Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Schmidt to the mat! Schmidt manages to get full guard.
Schmidt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gracie distracts Schmidt with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Gracie passes Schmidt's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gracie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Schmidt's head.
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Schmidt is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ground and pound from Gracie.
Schmidt is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Gracie trying to pass the guard but Schmidt defending well.
Gracie trying to control from Schmidt's half guard. Schmidt has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gracie stops Schmidt from standing up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Schmidt managing to control the position.
Gracie advances position into side control!
Schmidt is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Schmidt is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position.
Gracie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Schmidt dodges the ground and pound from Gracie.
Gracie throws a strike aimed at the side of Schmidt's head but Schmidt avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Schmidt struggling a bit here.
Gracie lands a nice forearm strike.
Schmidt is not content to let Gracie control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie scoring with punches and elbows.
Schmidt can't do much from the bottom here.
Schmidt regains half guard.
Gracie controlling the action here.
Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schmidt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie winds up and cracks Schmidt with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Gracie throwing shots but Schmidt is blocking nicely.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Schmidt is having none of it.
Gracie is really struggling to control Schmidt but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Gracie working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Schmidt's thigh. Schmidt counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Gracie throws a strike but Schmidt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Schmidt trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Schmidt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
River Gracie dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gracie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Schmidt scores with a jab to the body.
Schmidt jabs at Gracie's body.
Gracie walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like River Gracie has been cut.
Gracie needs to keep his hands up - Schmidt had a free shot at his head there.
Schmidt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Schmidt tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Schmidt sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for River Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schmidt scores with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schmidt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gracie backs up against the cage.
Schmidt throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gracie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gracie is rocked!
Gracie tries to get into range but Schmidt steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Gracie! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Schmidt scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tyler Schmidt!
