Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Kaufman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav The Creature (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaufman comes to the cage accompanied by SpongeBob SquarePants. Gustav The Creature looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Albert Kaufman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav The Creature!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Creature rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kaufman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The Creature wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kaufman manages to pass to side control.
The Creature looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kaufman not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaufman works his way into full mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kaufman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The Creature felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaufman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kaufman working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. The Creature turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kaufman off and cradles The Creature's limp body as Kaufman celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Albert Kaufman!
