Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hovannes Nazaryan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Nazaryan misses.
Yaj feinted with a counter takedown.
Nazaryan throws a hook but Yaj blocks it.
Yaj appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Nazaryan misses the shot to the body.
Nazaryan scores with a nice strike.
Yaj keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nazaryan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yaj connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Hovannes Nazaryan has been cut.
Yaj throws a good cross that connects.
Nazaryan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yaj digs a good hook to Nazaryan's body.

Yaj drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nazaryan sprawls and moves away.
Yaj comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yaj feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nazaryans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nazaryan thows a leg kick but Yaj checks it
and Yaj counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nazaryan is rocked!
Yaj forces his way into half guard.
Yaj looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nazaryan looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yaj not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Yaj scores with a big shot! Nazaryan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Nazaryan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rio Yaj!
