Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lane Macdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Destroyer Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Destroyer Rex will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macdonald fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rex avoids it really well and circles away. Rex lands a right hook to the body.
Rex moves into the clinch. Rex is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Rex breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rex goes for a double leg but Macdonald avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Macdonald continues to drive forward. Macdonald shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rex but Rex pushes him off and we're back to square one. Macdonald shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rex sprawls well. Rex wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Macdonald gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lane Macdonald. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macdonald looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rex looks like he wants to counter punch here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rex. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rex. Macdonald thinks about countering with a head kick. Macdonald takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Rex tries a head kick but it misses.
Rex misses with a takedown attempt - Macdonald sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rex shoots in but Macdonald avoids the takedown attempt easily. Macdonald gets tackled into the cage by Rex. Rex maintains the clinch. Macdonald is trying to pull guard but Rex turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Rex has Macdonald pressed against the cage, preventing Macdonald from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Macdonald as Rex tries to tie him up. Rex's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rex!
It looks like Lane Macdonald has been cut. Rex moves into range and clinches up with Macdonald.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Macdonald tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Macdonald could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Macdonald wants to break the clinch but can't.
Macdonald manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Macdonald pulls Rex in to control the position. Rex has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Macdonald is proving hard to escape from. Macdonald managing to control the position. Macdonald wants to get back to his feet but Rex passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Macdonald keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rex tries to stand but can't do so whilst Macdonald controls his leg. Macdonald tries to roll over but Rex keeps him under control. Macdonald has his hands clasped together around Rex's back. He's all about the action. Rex tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Macdonald. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Destroyer Rex dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lane Macdonald's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rex enables Macdonald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rex manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Macdonald postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Macdonald is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rex wants to sweep but no luck. Rex throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rex has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Macdonald tries to stand but Rex is controlling from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rex is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rex throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rex has closed the distance and engaged Macdonald in a clinch.
Macdonald tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rex smiles and moves away.
Macdonald rushes Rex and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rex lands with a short punch from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Rex tries for a takedown. No joy.
Macdonald is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rex is defending well. Rex is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Macdonald decides to pull guard. Macdonald pulls Rex in close to prevent any damage. Rex missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Macdonald might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Macdonald keeping moving, preventing Rex from controlling successfully. Macdonald has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Rex wants to stand and escape but instead Macdonald has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Macdonald working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rex's head. Macdonald postures up.
Macdonald is stalling in the full guard. Macdonald stands and steps away. Rex gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rex moves into the clinch successfully.
Macdonald fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lane Macdonald. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rex breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Destroyer Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Macdonald throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rex tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Macdonald is in Rex's guard. Macdonald showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rex is on top in guard.

Lane Macdonald dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Lane Macdonald's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Macdonald misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rex shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Macdonald but Macdonald pushes him off and we're back to square one. Macdonald lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Macdonald defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rex. Macdonald throws a counter high kick but Rex was just alert enough to avoid it. Macdonald leaves Rex with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lane Macdonald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Destroyer Rex. Macdonald closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Macdonald stands up. Rex throws a body shot but no joy. Rex takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rex shoots in for a takedown but Macdonald shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rex pushes Macdonald up against the cage in a clinch. Macdonald lands a takedown into guard.
Rex wants to get back to his feet but Macdonald passes into half guard.
Rex is trying to escape back to his feet but Macdonald uses the scramble to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Rex's face as Macdonald controls the position. Macdonald has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rex stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rex wants it to stay on the feet. Despite the aggression on Rex's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Macdonald avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rex darts in and clinches Macdonald up against the cage. Rex has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Macdonald avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Rex jumps guard but Macdonald turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Macdonald wants to break the clinch but can't.
Macdonald looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Macdonald ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Macdonald no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Macdonald seems keen to control Rex's posture. Rex prevents Macdonald from getting back to his feet. Rex wants to stand but Macdonald is controlling his posture from full guard. Rex must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Macdonald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rex can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Macdonald has his hands on Rex's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rex is looking to stand up but Macdonald won't let him. Rex stays in close to Macdonald's body and controls the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rex gets caught flat footed, as Macdonald shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Macdonald's corner is telling him to maintain position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Macdonald postures up.

And that's the end of the fight! Lane Macdonald showed his dominance in that final round. I think Macdonald has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
