The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Campana fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takahashi manages to avoid it.
Campana stuffs the takedown attempt from Takahashi . Takahashi gets slowly back to his feet.
Takahashi slips a jab from Campana.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Takahashi .
Carlixto Campana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keoji Takahashi .
Campana throws a shot from downtown. Takahashi moves away and avoids it.
Campana lands a jab to the nose.

Takahashi gets a double leg takedown into Campana's guard.
Takahashi wants to control from the top but Campana keeps moving.

Takahashi tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Keoji Takahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Takahashi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Campana's waist but Campana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takahashi off to one side.
Campana works over Takahashi 's head and body with a nice combination.

Campana gets caught flat footed, as Takahashi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Campana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takahashi on the ground.
Campana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
