The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather gets caught flat footed, as Masuka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Masuka slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mayweather tries to escape but Masuka is in control.
Masuka tries to advance to mount but Mayweather denies him.
Mayweather is trying to control Masuka's posture but Masuka avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Masuka in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Masuka stands up.
Masuka moves out of range of the strikes.
Mayweather throws a left that rocks Masuka and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Mayweather dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Masuka regain composure!
Masuka is rocked!
Masuka manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Masuka is still in real trouble! Can Mayweather finish him?

Masuka content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Masuka looks gassed!
Masuka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Masuka seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Despite being in the dominant position, Vince Masuka just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mayweather ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masuka moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mayweather lunges at Masuka with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masuka's hand.
Mayweather misses with a body shot.
Mayweather throws a hook but Masuka blocks it.
Mayweather throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Masuka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mayweather lands a really nice looking cross but Masuka seems unphased.
Mayweather cracks Masuka with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Masuka tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mayweather pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Masuka is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Floyd Mayweather!
