Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slade Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lapancadon Minare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapancadon Minare has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Slade Slayer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Slade Slayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lapancadon Minare! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minare shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slayer pinned against the cage. Slayer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Slayer misses with a low kick. Minare unleashes a big counter combination but Slayer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Horrible takedown attempt by Minare or perhaps it was just good defense by Slayer, which made it look bad. Slayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slayer looks to land a body kick but Minare moved away. Minare throws out a leg kick but Slayer moves out of range and Minare only half commits. Slayer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Minare moves away from the strike by Slayer. Slayer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Minare was well out of range. Poor timing from Slayer. And Minare tries to counter it with a takedown but Slayer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Slayer throws a head kick that misses and Minare counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Slayer! Minare stands up and we're back to a striking position. Minare gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Minare trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minare decides to stand and escape the position. Minare forces Slayer back against the cage and clinches. Minare leaning against his opponent.
Minare wants to take the fight to the mat but Slayer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Slade Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lapancadon Minare. Minare working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Minare breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Minare takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Slayer throws the kick towards the body but Minare avoids it. Minare fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Slayer misses with a low kick. Slayer throws a body punch but Minare moves out of range. Slayer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Slade Slayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slayer throws a lazy right hand but Minare sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Minare steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Slayer. A head kick misses from Slayer. Some wild striking there from Minare.
Slayer throws a low kick, looking for Minare's leg but Minare calmly moves out of range. A little jabbing left from Minare on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Minare throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slayer. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Minare scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Minare looks winded! Minare controlling the position. Slayer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Minare decides to stand back up. Minare steps back and let's Slayer get back to his feet. Slayer tries to score with a low kick but Minare moves his leg out of the way. Slayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slayer looks to land a body kick but Minare moved away. Minare shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Minare was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Minare is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Slayer's shoulder. That is not cool. Slayer is trying to buck Minare off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Minare wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slayer, who protects the arm well. Slayer trying to remain calm as Minare controls from the top position. Slayer is trying to get back to his feet. Minare controlling the position. Minare decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lapancadon Minare will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Minare shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Slayer is trying to defend but Minare finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Minare keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Slayer pushes Minare off looking to stand but Minare dives back in and keeps control.
Minare decides to stand up. Minare shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slayer as he jumps to the side. Slade Slayer is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Minare has managed to clinch.
Minare breaks from the clinch.
Slayer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Minare follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minare uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slayer. Slayer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Minare fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slayer, pushing him back against the cage. Slayer is trying to break the clinch but Minare is controlling him. Minare breaks the clinch.
Slayer looks to land a body kick but Minare moved away. Horrible takedown attempt by Minare or perhaps it was just good defense by Slayer, which made it look bad. Minare instigates a clinch. Slayer manages to break the clinch.
Slayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slayer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Minare. Slayer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Minare looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Minare shoots for a takedown but Slayer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Slayer looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Slade Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lapancadon Minare. Slayer throws a sloppy head kick and Minare moves out of range easily. Slayer scores with a nice body kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Minare shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slayer as he jumps to the side. Minare is breathing heavily. Slayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Slayer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Minare is able to avoid easily. Slayer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Minare. Minare shoots in but no luck this time. Slayer misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Minare moves away. Slayer tries to land a front kick but Minare steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Slayer tries to land a body kick and Minare counters by clinching up. Slayer breaks the clinch.
Minare closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slayer circles away. Slayer tries to land a leg kick but Minare saw it coming and moves away.
Minare shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slayer as he avoids it easily. Good work by Minare as he checks the leg kick. Slayer throws a sloppy head kick and Minare moves out of range easily. Minare has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Slayer finds it's way round the side to connect with Minare's head. Slayer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Slayer throws a body shot but no joy. Minare blocks a leg kick. Slayer throws a head kick but Minare moves out of range.
Slayer throws a wild body kick that Minare sees coming a mile off. Slayer misses with a leg kick and Minare counters with a single leg into guard. Slayer didn't expect that. Slayer wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Minare manages to pass to side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slayer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Minare on the ground. Slayer is looking to control Minare's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Slayer avoid being mounted? Minare is nestled in close to Slayer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slade Slayer dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Slayer gets tackled into the cage by Minare. Minare maintains the clinch. Minare breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Minare shoots in looking for a takedown but Slayer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Minare's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Minare fails with the takedown. Minare throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Slayer throws a head kick but Minare moves out of range.
Minare wants to counter the offense by Slayer and move into the clinch position. Slayer pivots, looking for a leg kick but Minare is out of range and Slayer settles back down. A low kick from Slayer misses and Minare counters with a shoot takedown. Slayer fights it but they end up in guard. Minare engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Minare's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Minare takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minare stops Slayer from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Minare controls from within his opponent's guard. More stalling from Minare. Minare pushes down on Slayer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Minare trying to control the pace. Minare throwing shots but Slayer is blocking nicely.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Slade Slayer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer misses with a leg kick and Minare counters by clinching up. Slayer tries to circle away but Minare has him pinned against the cage. Slayer wants to break free but Minare has control.
Slayer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Minare checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. The fight moves into the clinch position. Minare can't get the takedown.
Slade Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lapancadon Minare. Minare is struggling to control the position. Slayer is looking to break free of the clinch but Minare has double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Minare tries for a takedown. No joy.
Minare escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slayer throws a head kick that misses. Minare slips under a jab from Slayer. Slayer cracks a nice hook into Minare's ribs. A low kick from Slayer is predictable there and Minare counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Slayer! Minare advances to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Minare misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that's the end of the fight! Lapancadon Minare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Minare has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
