Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Batty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Ulriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batty comes into the arena with I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Batty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Ulriksen! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ulriksen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Batty dives in for a single leg takedown but Ulriksen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Batty scores with a hook. Batty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ulriksen was well out of range. Poor timing from Batty. Batty has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Forcefield Ludas in the buildup to the fight. Ulriksen shoots in and drives through. Batty sprawls well. Ulriksen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ulriksen shoots in looking for a takedown but Batty manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ulriksen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It looked like Batty wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Roy Batty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Batty uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Batty fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ulriksen to the ground. Batty is now in Ulriksen's guard. Ulriksen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
My spies in Cozad MMA Las Vegas inform me that Ulriksen has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! This has been an exciting period of action! Ulriksen throws a big elbow that misses. Ulriksen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Batty looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Ulriksen trying to control but Batty is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ulriksen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Batty works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Batty looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Batty had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ulriksen defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Batty has an active guard here but Ulriksen has managed to pass into half guard.

Ulriksen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ulriksen landing some decent shots from guard. Ulriksen stands up over Batty, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ulriksen distracts Batty with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Batty is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

You can't force these things though and Ulriksen defends well. Ulriksen scoring with some ground and pound. Ulriksen stands and throws Batty's legs to the side, diving into side control. Batty is looking for a sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ulriksen scores with punches from side control. Ulriksen is looking to take a break and control but Batty is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ulriksen landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roy Batty will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
A big left from Batty misses. Ulriksen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Victor Ulriksen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ulriksen slips under a jab. Batty tries to clinch but Ulriksen moves out of range. Ulriksen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Batty. Batty shoots for a takedown but Ulriksen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Batty thows a left - swing and a miss! Batty misses with a straight left. Ulriksen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Batty sprawls well. Batty wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ulriksen gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batty throws a hook to the side of Ulriksen's head but Ulriksen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Batty throws a body punch but Ulriksen moves out of range. And Ulriksen tries to counter it with a takedown but Batty pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batty lands a right hook to the body.
Ulriksen with a poor takedown and Batty connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ulriksen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Batty looks to land a combination but Ulriksen avoids it well. Roy Batty is winning the standup battle so far. Ulriksen shoots in but no luck this time. Roy Batty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Ulriksen. Ulriksen misses with a leg kick and Ulriksen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Batty works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Good standup being displayed there by Batty as he connects with a hook. Batty closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ulriksen did well to prevent Batty getting side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Batty trying to mount his opponent but Ulriksen defends it. Batty is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ulriksen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ulriksen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Batty tries to get to full guard but Ulriksen has control of the leg. Batty is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Ulriksen jumps into side control! Batty taking punishment in the form of punches.
Batty is looking to regain half guard here but Ulriksen keeps moving and retains side control. Batty takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Ulriksen working the ground and pound from side control. Batty is looking for a sweep. Batty looks to move to half guard but instead Ulriksen has passed into mount! Damn! Batty tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Batty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ulriksen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Batty won't allow Ulriksen to sweep him here. Batty tries to free his leg and advance position but Ulriksen is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ulriksen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Batty's guard. Ulriksen cracks Batty with a solid left hand. Ulriksen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ulriksen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Batty has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ulriksen has managed to get both his arms back between Batty's legs - danger averted. Batty is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ulriksen can do to turn this around? Ulriksen postures up and lands a big shot to Batty's brow. Batty manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ulriksen manages to get himself to full guard.
Batty throws a strike but Ulriksen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Batty has momentary wrist control but Ulriksen slips an elbow through the middle. And that's the end of the fight! Roy Batty showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Batty, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
