The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker scores with a head kick. Taktarov tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Oleg Taktarov has been cut.
Taktarov shoots for a takedown but Parker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taktarov shoots in and drives through. Parker sprawls well.
Taktarov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Parker!
Taktarov wants to control but Parker is keeping him busy.
Taktarov misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
A lull in the action here as Taktarov stalls from top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Parker is controlling an arm, preventing Taktarov from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Taktarov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Taktarov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Parker's face.
Taktarov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Taktarov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Parker is rocked!
Taktarov looking to isolate an arm here. Parker doesn't see it coming and as Taktarov extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Taktarov!
