Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Saint Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre comes to the cage accompanied by Where is My Mind. Rene Wood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Rene Wood has been cut.
Pierre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pierre rushes Wood and presses him up against the cage.
Wood misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pierre scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Pierre breaks from the clinch.
Wood takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pierre misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pierre is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pierre shoots in and bounces Wood off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Pierre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wood decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wood prevents Pierre from improving his position.

Pierre is pressing down on Wood's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Pierre wants to stand up but Wood is controlling him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pierre is on top in guard.

Pierre closes the distance and clinches.
Pierre has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wood avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pierre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Pierre.

Pierre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pierre is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wood trying to control the position but Pierre is working away.
Pierre takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wood thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Pierre's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wood postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saint Pierre dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rene Wood's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pierre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wood shoots in looking for a takedown. Pierre tries to sprawl out of it but Wood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pierre manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pierre moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pierre fails with the takedown.
Pierre scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Saint Pierre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pierre, as that shot connected.
Pierre throws a head kick that misses.
Pierre lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Wood can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Pierre and Wood drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Pierre.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saint Pierre!
