Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Clawnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clawnes comes into the arena with My name is MUD blaring out of the sound system. Araujo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Who Shot Ya?. Luiz Araujo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clawnes's waist but Clawnes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Araujo off to one side.
Clawnes throws a head kick that Araujo semi-blocks.
Clawnes tries to sprawl but Araujo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Araujo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clawnes tries to kick Araujo off but Araujo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Clawnes kicks off Araujo and gets to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Araujo or perhaps it was just good defense by Clawnes, which made it look bad.
Jab, jab by Clawnes - just one landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clawnes has closed the distance and engaged Araujo in a clinch.
Araujo is trying to pull guard but Clawnes has him pressed against the cage.
Thomas Clawnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Araujo.
Araujo wants to get back to striking at distance but Clawnes won't allow it.
Clawnes throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Araujo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Araujo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clawnes but Clawnes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Clawnes chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Clawnes connects with an inside leg kick.
Clawnes misses with a wild combination.

Araujo slips a jab and a cross from Clawnes.
Araujo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clawnes tries to avoid it but Araujo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clawnes to the ground. Clawnes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clawnes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Araujo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Thomas Clawnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clawnes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Clawnes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Clawnes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Clawnes closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Clawnes tries to bum rush Araujo with a series of wild strikes but Araujo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Araujo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clawnes manages to avoid it.
Araujo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clawnes circles away.
Araujo looks to land a combination. Clawnes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Araujo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Clawnes defends well and Araujo ends up having to push Clawnes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Araujo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clawnes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Araujo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Araujo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Clawnes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Araujo.
Clawnes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A nice inside leg kick there by Clawnes. That's going to slow Araujo down.

Clawnes dodges the punch combination from Araujo.
Araujo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Clawnes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Clawnes lands an elbow just above Araujo 's eye.
Clawnes lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Clawnes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Clawnes connects with a nasty looking knee right to Araujo's face.

Clawnes lands an elbow that stopped Araujo in his tracks for a moment.
Araujo is still on wobbly legs! Can Clawnes finish him?
Clawnes creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Araujo! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Clawnes.
