Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gavin McTavish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Byson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Byson misses the target.
McTavish gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Gavin McTavish has been cut.
Byson misses with a wild body shot.
McTavish misses with a hook.
Byson throws a body punch but McTavish moves out of range.
Byson scores with a jab to the body.
Byson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McTavish's head.
Byson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McTavish.
McTavish swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Byson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McTavish sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Byson takes a swing at McTavish's ribcage but misses.
McTavish moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Byson digs a good body shot into McTavish's ribs.
McTavish is breathing heavily.
Byson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Gavin McTavish's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McTavish takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Michael Byson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Byson is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches McTavish flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! McTavish is out cold! Byson holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Byson!
