Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andres Mcfadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milan Rodic!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfadden lands a head kick!

Mcfadden gets a takedown into half guard.
Rodic wants to get back to full guard.
Rodic wants to control the action here but instead Mcfadden manages to pass to full mount!
Rodic can't escape the position.
Rodic tries to lock up and control but Mcfadden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rodic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcfadden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcfadden is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Mcfadden's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Rodic won't allow Mcfadden to sweep him here.
Rodic looking to sit in guard and control but Mcfadden gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rodic wants to stand and escape but Mcfadden is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rodic can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rodic is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mcfadden dives into side control.

Rodic closes the distance and clinches up with Mcfadden, looking for a takedown. Rodic pushes Mcfadden against the cage but Mcfadden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcfadden clinches up with Rodic and pushes him back against the cage.
Mcfadden is pressed up against the cage. Rodic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mcfadden down to the mat. Mcfadden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rodic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rodic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcfadden tries to avoid it but Rodic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcfadden to the ground. Mcfadden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andres Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milan Rodic.
Rodic misses with a takedown attempt - Mcfadden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
