Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between The Beast and Ruarc Harris. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; The Beast! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ruarc Harris!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Beast shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harris manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Beast doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Beast manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've been hearing good reports from Beast's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Beast sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Harris's guard.

Beast is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beast.

Harris is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Beast is surviving well by controlling Harris's body position as best he can.

Harris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beast is just riding it out for now. Harris eventually gives up the hold.

Beast drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Harris manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Beast has Harris in his guard.

Harris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Beast throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Harris escapes and throws Beast's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The referee asks Harris politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Harris prefers to stall for the moment though.

Beast tries to buck Harris off but Harris is having none of it.

Harris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Beast is refusing to be controlled, as Harris sits in half guard.
Harris prevents Beast from improving his position.
Harris seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beast does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Beast won't allow Harris to pass to mount.

Beast is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard.
Harris wants to take a breather but Beast is having none of it.

Harris is working for a kimura but Beast is defending it quite comfortably.
Harris passes the guard and advances to mount!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Beast tries to hold on but Harris postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Harris wins on points by 18 to 4.
In his post fight interview, Ruarc Harris gave a big smile as he said 'To all the women that we love best, we love em best when there undressed. And when there dead and long forgotten, we will dig em up and screw them rotten.'.
