Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Trudel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tupac -Ambitionz Az A Ridah. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Silva!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trudel jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Silva tries to clinch but Trudel is having none of it.
Silva takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Trudel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trudel keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Trudel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva wants to clinch.
Trudel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Gary Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trudel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Trudel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Trudel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Trudel wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.

Trudel wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.

Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Trudel stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Silva throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trudel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Trudel lands a two punch combo.
Trudel shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Trudel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Trudel wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Trudel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Trudel wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Trudel is working hard here to advance position.

Silva is trying to stand up here but Trudel is controlling him well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Trudel wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Trudel dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Trudel presses Silva against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Trudel is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Trudel's body to avoid the submission. Trudel has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Trudel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Fred Trudel!
