Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tyson James and John Dux. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Dux enters the cage!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Tyson James! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; John Dux! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? James clinches up with Dux and pushes him back against the cage. James successfully pulls guard.

James had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dux defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dux is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Dux makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dux. James wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dux swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dux working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dux looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
James seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
