The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis lands a nice shot that snaps Brown's head back.
It looks like Kingston Brown has been cut.
Pettis misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
Pettis blocks a jab.
Brown tries to clinch up
and Pettis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brown throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pettis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brown closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pettis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown's corner calls for a 1-2. Brown obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Anthony Pettis has been cut.
Brown dips to his left and cracks Pettis with an uppercut!
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Pettis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brown wants to clinch but Pettis slips to the side
and Pettis counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pettis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Pettis is rocked!
Brown is stalking Pettis. Pettis circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Brown, and it's lights out! Pettis really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
