Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Nixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fred Perry! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nixon.
A little jabbing left from Perry on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Perry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nixon counters with a nice body shot. Nixon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Perry shoots in looking for a takedown but Nixon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Perry's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nixon lands with a cross. Nixon works the jab nicely. Nixon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nixon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Perry takes one to the chin there. Nixon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nixon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Perry misses with a lunging right hand
and Nixon counters with a stiff right hand. Nixon moves into range and connects with a jab.

Nixon has Perry up against the cage in a clinch.
Nixon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Perry backwards. Perry drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Richard Nixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Perry. Nixon scores with a nice hook to the head. Perry goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nixon prevents it.
Nixon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Nixon is working Perry over against the cage. Perry drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry is trying to drag Nixon to the mat but Nixon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Nixon works on Perry's body with a couple of short punches. A body shot lands from Nixon.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nixon lands a body punch. Nixon digs a right hand into Perry's ribs. Perry let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Richard Nixon dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nixon connects with a body shot that sends Perry's belly button to the back. Perry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nixon punishes Perry's body with a nice straight punch. Nixon digs a good hook to Perry's body.
Perry on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nixon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Perry's head. Perry takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nixon lands with a cross. Nixon with a nice cross.
Perry is rocked! It's a brutal combination of punches from Nixon! Perry is backing up but he can't get away as Nixon lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Perry and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Richard Nixon! Richard Nixon was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
