Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krystian Cierpka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Li Kong Ho! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cierpka defending well as Ho loads up on a big left hand. Cierpka tries to clinch but Ho moves out of range. Cierpka gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cierpka takes one to the side of the head.
Cierpka is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A good leg kick by Ho. Ho circles away from the clinch attempt and Ho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ho misses with a left hand and Cierpka counters with a three punch combo that has Ho backing up. Ho nods at Cierpka to acknowledge the strikes. Cierpka tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cierpka takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cierpka darts in and clinches Ho up against the ropes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ho lands a nice uppercut. Cierpka tries to circle away but Ho has him pinned against the ropes. A nice right hand lands inside from Ho.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ho tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Oh Cierpka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ho lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cierpka. Cierpka tries to land a knee to the head but Ho blocks with his arms.

Ho loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ho throws a big right hand that misses. Ho with a flurry of punches that miss. Cierpka seems to have got his legs back now. Ho throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cierpka works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cierpka avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ho throws a big right hand that misses. Ho with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ho works a leg free and moves into half guard. Ho is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Cierpka still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Cierpka has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Cierpka wants to stand but Ho is controlling his arm.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cierpka darts in and clinches Ho up against the ropes. Ho breaks the clinch.

Cierpka is trying to push Ho away but Ho has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Cierpka is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ho is keeping busy. Ho misses with some punches.
Cierpka is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Ho tries a knee to the head but Cierpka blocks it.

Li Kong Ho dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cierpka wants to clinch but Ho slips to the side and Ho counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cierpka tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Ho manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ho has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The fight stays on the outside here - Cierpka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ho looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cierpka throws a series of strikes that have Ho backpedaling.

Ho lands on the inside with an uppercut. Cierpka wants to get back to striking at distance but Ho won't allow it.
A short uppercut from Ho. Ho's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ho tries to keep at a distance but Cierpka has taken the fight into the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ho misses with a short punch on the inside. Ho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cierpka cracks the inside of Ho's front leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Cierpka misses. Ho feints the counter takedown. Cierpka staying out of range there. Ho manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cierpka on his heels. He'll look to pass Cierpka's guard now, I'm sure. Ho pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cierpka is keeping the position for now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ho throws a strike but Cierpka rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've been hearing that Cierpka has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Cierpka wants to stand but Ho has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ho is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ho wants to hit a switch here but Cierpka passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ho there! Cierpka is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Ho slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ho wants to control but Cierpka is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Krystian Cierpka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cierpka tries to close the distance and clinch but Ho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cierpka tries to clinch up but Ho circles away and keeps his distance. Ho tries to bum rush Cierpka with a series of wild strikes but Cierpka uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Krystian Cierpka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cierpka tries to close the distance and clinch but Ho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Li Kong Ho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

and Ho counters with a nice leg kick. Ho lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ho connects with a looping right hand.
Ho drops Cierpka with a big left hand! Cierpka is injured, injured bad! Ho jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Li Kong Ho! Li Kong Ho really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that M.O. Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
