Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Friedrich Hayek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braetius Vercingeto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vercingeto is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wild Jig Of Beltaine. Friedrich Hayek is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hayek wants it to stay on the feet.
Hayek misses with a combination
and Vercingeto counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vercingeto.
Vercingeto sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vercingeto postures up and lands a big shot to Hayek's brow.
Hayek can't keep his opponent in guard - Vercingeto advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hayek definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hayek trying to control but Vercingeto postures up.
Vercingeto scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Vercingeto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vercingeto lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vercingeto looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hayek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Vercingeto is keen to just control but Hayek is a slippery customer.

Hayek is looking to escape.
Hayek is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Vercingeto scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vercingeto connects with a nice short shot to Hayek's temple.
Vercingeto wants to control but Hayek is keeping him busy.
Hayek is looking to escape.
Vercingeto looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Vercingeto takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vercingeto lands a nice short elbow.
Hayek looks like he's trying to stand up.
Vercingeto lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vercingeto working the head and body with strikes.
Hayek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vercingeto on the ground.
Hayek wants to get back to his feet.
Hayek has hold of Vercingeto's hands but Vercingeto slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Vercingeto is nestled in close to Hayek, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hayek is rocked!
Vercingeto slows the pace down in half guard.
Oh Hayek is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vercingeto scores with a big shot! Hayek's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Hayek! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braetius Vercingeto!
After the fight, Braetius Vercingeto was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
