The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell scores with a takedown into McLager's guard.
McLager is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mitchell thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McLager is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Mitchell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McLager really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mitchell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McLager misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Mitchell is looking for a kimura but McLager is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mitchell to get the leverage.
