Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Delled Bode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Delled Bode!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos dives in for a single leg takedown but Bode sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bode gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Santos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bode after a bit of a struggle.
Santos can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bode gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Santos.
Santos tries to pull guard but Bode forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Santos tries to score a body lock takedown but Bode shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bode has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Santos regains guard immediately.
Bode connects with a couple of short punches.
Bode must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bode stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Santos controls Bode momentarily but Bode frees himself.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Santos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bode manages to get himself to full guard.

Santos forces his way into half guard.
Bode really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bode knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Santos moves nicely into side control.
A lull in the action here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bode is not content to let Santos control the position.

Santos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bode has escaped the position, nice work there.

Santos is looking to take a break and control but Bode is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bode is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bode tries to bench press Santos off him but Santos keeps the position.

Santos tries for a kimura but Bode is defending well.

Santos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos wants to control but Bode is keeping him busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Bode's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Santos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bode, who protects the arm well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Santos will probably get the nod.

Santos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bode pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Santos goes for a takedown attempt but Bode pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bode has clasped his hands together around Santos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Santos is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bode's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Tony Santos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bode is breathing heavily.
Santos works his way into full mount!

Santos wants to finish this one by submission but Bode is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Santos.

Santos is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bode to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bode shrugs it off.
Bode is squirming around, avoiding Santos's attempts to control the action.

Bode is desperately trying to improve his position but Santos has a good base and remains in mount.

Santos is working for a guillotine from mount but Bode frees his head quite easily.
Bode has given up his back.

Santos is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Bode has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Santos has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Bode taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Santos doesn't care though - he's delighted!
