Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ole NKone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramos comes to the cage accompanied by Sepultura - Nomad. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NKone takes one on the chin but seems OK.
NKone on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ramos misses with a left hand
and NKone counters with a shoot takedown. Ramos fights it but they end up in guard.
Ramos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and NKone defends well.
NKone stays in close to Ramos's body and controls the position.
Ramos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. NKone is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells NKone's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
NKone stands up over Ramos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
NKone pushing down on Ramos's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
NKone is looking to take a break and control but Ramos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

NKone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ramos keeps working.
NKone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ramos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ramos has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Ramos wants to get back to full guard.
Ramos is trying to defend against the ground and pound but NKone scores with a couple of nice shots.
NKone seems to be looking for submissions.
Ramos gets full guard.
Ramos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. NKone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. NKone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ramos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
NKone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ramos is just riding it out for now. NKone eventually gives up the hold.
NKone seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
NKone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ramos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ramos's corner calls for a 1-2. Ramos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
NKone fails with a takedown attempt.
Ramos was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ramos.

Ramos throws a jab but it's blocked by NKone.

Ramos scores with a jab. NKone acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
NKone darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Ramos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on NKone. That did some damage!
Ramos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but NKone was well out of range. Poor timing from Ramos.

and NKone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and NKone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ramos throws a head kick that misses.

Donk. NKone catches Ramos right on the button with a cross.

NKone appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
NKone misses with an uppercut
and Ramos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ramos tries to clinch there but NKone circles away.
NKone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ramos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ramos swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and NKone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ramos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
NKone throws a hook but Ramos avoids it easily.
Ramos connects with an inside leg kick.
NKone jabs Ramos to the body, keeping him at a distance.

NKone sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ramos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ramos tries to land a front kick but NKone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
NKone with the counter takedown but Ramos avoids it easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ramos. NKone does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ramos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
NKone is rocked!
NKone throws a body punch but Ramos moves out of range.
Ramos throws a hook but NKone blocks it.
NKone takes a swing at Ramos's ribcage but misses.

NKone loads up on a big right hand but Ramos slips the punch.
Ramos moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
NKone is breathing heavily.

Ramos lets loose with a powerful body kick. NKone will feel that in the morning.
Ramos drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of NKone's head, knocking him out cold! Ramos is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
