The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devinson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parsons defends well and Devinson ends up having to push Parsons into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Parsons.
Devinson tries to counter by closing the distance.
Devinson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Devinson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Brendan Parsons has been cut.
Devinson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Parsons managing to block the knees to the body from Devinson.
Devinson letting Parsons take a breather here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Devinson wants to break free but Parsons has control.
Parsons has Devinson pressed against the cage.
Devinson pulls guard effortlessly.
Devinson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Parsons knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Devinson on the ground.

Devinson pushes a forearm under Parsons's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Parsons is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
