The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlesinger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Schlesinger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lakhel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schlesinger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lakhel tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Schlesinger drops back looking for a leg! Lakhel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lakhel manages to kick Schlesinger off! Schlesinger jumps back into Lakhel's guard.
Schlesinger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Lakhel wants to sweep here but Schlesinger controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schlesinger postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Lakhel out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Schlesinger goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
