Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don T. Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Talbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill and Sam Talbert. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don T. Bill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sam Talbert! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bill shoots in looking for a takedown but Talbert manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Talbert avoids the head kick by Bill.
Bill misses with a takedown attempt and Talbert counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Talbert throws an overhand right that lands on Bill's shoulder, as Bill tries to avoid the shot. Talbert has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A jab from Talbert does it's job there. Bill fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don T. Bill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bill shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Talbert counters with a stiff right hand. Bill with a poor takedown enabling Talbert to counter with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Talbert throws a big shot that misses. Bill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Talbert tries to avoid it but Bill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Talbert to the ground. Talbert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Talbert swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Talbert looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Talbert looks to land a right hand but Bill moved out of range. The fighters circling - Talbert throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Good shot there by Talbert. Bill looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bill misses with a body shot.
Bill doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bill takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sam Talbert is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bill fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Talbert to the ground. Bill is now in Talbert's guard. Talbert seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Bill distracts Talbert with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bill throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Talbert working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Talbert pulls Bill in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bill throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Talbert works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bill working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bill avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bill trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bill chips away with some ground and pound. Bill works over Talbert with some ground and pound from guard.

The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Talbert looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Talbert! You can see the frustration on Bill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bill is looking to regain half guard here but Talbert keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Talbert working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Bill tries to improve position but can't. Talbert lands a nice forearm strike. Bill manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Talbert is concentrating on defense, preventing Bill from advancing position. Bill missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bill thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bill is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bill thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Talbert's head. Bill throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Talbert dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bill. Don T. Bill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bill doesn't succeed with the takedown and Talbert counters with a nice uppercut. Talbert displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bill. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don T. Bill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bill pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bill shoots in but no luck this time. Talbert looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Talbert. Talbert lands a lovely overhand right. Talbert might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Bill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Talbert but Talbert pushes him off and we're back to square one. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bill darts in trying to clinch enabling Talbert to counter with a crisp jab. Bill thows a left - swing and a miss! Bill shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bill showed some decent athleticism there. Bill missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Talbert is pressing down on Bill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bill postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bill is fighting to break Talbert's control of his arms but Talbert is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Talbert wants to sweep but no luck.

Bill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Talbert pulls Bill in close to prevent any damage. Bill stands up over Talbert, holding his feet. Bill has momentary wrist control but Talbert slips an elbow through the middle. Talbert avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Talbert in particular looking to stall. Talbert blocks the strikes from Bill.

Talbert takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bill is trying to maintain the position but Talbert is very close to passing his half guard. Bill looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bill actively working from the bottom here. Talbert stands up and beckons Bill to join him on the feet. Bill fails with an attempt to clinch.

A little jabbing left from Talbert on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don T. Bill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bill takes a jab right on the kisser.
Talbert lands with a nice combination. Bill backs away looking to recover. Talbert lands a glancing blow to the side of Bill's head. Bill throws a combination that misses and Talbert counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Talbert!
Bill closes the distance and clinches up with Talbert, looking for a takedown. Bill pushes Talbert against the cage but Talbert circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bill. Talbert scores with a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Talbert defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bill. Talbert looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bill tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Talbert defends well and Bill ends up having to push Talbert into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Talbert throws out a counter right but Bill avoids it with no problem. Don T. Bill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Talbert sends Bill crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Talbert is motioning to the referee to let Bill up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Bill shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Talbert sprawls well. Talbert wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bill gets slowly back to his feet. Talbert swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Talbert comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Talbert winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
