The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Viulu. LaFontier does a little dance to reset his feet.
LaFontier shoots in for a takedown but Viulu shows good takedown defense.
Viulu misses the shot to the body.
LaFontier ducks under a wild hook from Viulu.
LaFontier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Viulu throws a right and a left that LaFontier avoids nicely.
LaFontier throws a body shot but no joy.
Viulu throws a predictable looking body shot
and LaFontier counters with a nice leg kick.
LaFontier moves away from the strike by Viulu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
LaFontier misses with a wild body shot.
LaFontier lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Viulu catches LaFontier with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
LaFontier takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

LaFontier jabs Viulu to the body, keeping him at a distance.

LaFontier uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Viulu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Viulu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
LaFontier just misses with a punch to the body.
Viulu let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
A swing and a miss from LaFontier.
A countering left hand to the body from Viulu misses.
Viulu throws a series of punches but LaFontier avoids them all with ease.
LaFontier looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Viulu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

LaFontier swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Viulu.
LaFontier misses with a lunging right hand
and Viulu counters with a big right hand! Oh LaFontier is in trouble here! Viulu follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
