Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vasily Farbatyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preston Tobey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vasily Farbatyk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Preston Tobey! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farbatyk misses with a head kick.

Tobey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Farbatyk! Farbatyk tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Tobey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tobey lands a nice shot to the head. Tobey landing strikes from the mount and Farbatyk is in trouble! Farbatyk's coaches at Harambe Remembrance Hall have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tobey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Tobey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. It looks like Tobey might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Farbatyk is trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tobey has control of Farbatyk's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Farbatyk regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tobey breaks from Farbatyk's wrist control and lands an elbow. Tobey controlling from the full mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tobey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tobey looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tobey thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Tobey has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tobey looking for a sweep. Not yet Tobey, not yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tobey has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Farbatyk is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tobey. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tobey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tobey decides to stand back up. Tobey steps back and let's Farbatyk get back to his feet. Tobey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Farbatyk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Tobey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tobey stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Tobey turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Tobey grinds an elbow into Farbatyk's temple. Farbatyk taking punishment in the form of punches.
Farbatyk seems a little lost for a moment, as Tobey dominates the positioning. Tobey tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Farbatyk is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Tobey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Farbatyk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tobey is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tobey has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Farbatyk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Tobey throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Tobey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Farbatyk to the ground. Tobey is now in Farbatyk's guard. Tobey is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Farbatyk wants to stand up but Tobey is controlling him. Tobey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tobey looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Preston Tobey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Vasily Farbatyk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No joy there for Tobey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tobey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Farbatyk was covering up waiting for the punch and Tobey finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tobey stays in close to Farbatyk's body and controls the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are working up against the cage. Farbatyk manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Tobey is trying to pull guard but Farbatyk has him pressed against the cage. Tobey breaks the clinch.
Farbatyk throws a sloppy head kick and Tobey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Farbatyk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tobey appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Tobey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tobey showed some decent athleticism there. Tobey is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tobey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Tobey passes to side control. A lull in the action here as Tobey stalls from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tobey tries for a kimura but Farbatyk is defending well. Tobey works to advance to full mount. Farbatyk defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Tobey lands a big shot there that rocks Farbatyk but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
