Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Jizsm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jizsm changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riggs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Riggs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jizsm is trying to get an arm triangle but Riggs is defending well.
Riggs is trying to improve his position.
Jizsm wants to control but Riggs is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jizsm tries for a kimura but Riggs is defending well.

Jizsm taking a break here but Riggs is having none of it and regains half guard.
Jizsm uses his free foot to push down on Riggs's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Riggs.
Riggs tries to reverse the position but Jizsm maintains control.

Jizsm unloads with some shots from mount but Riggs bucks and avoids them well.

Jizsm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Riggs does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jizsm is working for a kimura but Riggs is defending it quite comfortably.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Riggs wants to get back to his feet.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Riggs has taken the fight to the clinch.

Jizsm's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Riggs has Jizsm pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Riggs pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jizsm tumbling to the mat - Riggs dives into Jizsm's guard.

Riggs thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Riggs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jizsm pushes Riggs off and scrambles back to his feet.

Jizsm shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Jizsm decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Riggs, up you get!

Riggs tries a head kick but it misses.
Jizsm is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Jizsm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Riggs is working an open guard so Jizsm takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jizsm lands with a kick to the temple. Riggs shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Stuart Riggs has been cut.
Jizsm is breathing heavily.

Jizsm shoots in and bounces Riggs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Riggs wriggles free and stands up.
Riggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jizsm throws a head kick that half lands.

Jizsm scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jizsm tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Riggs has one foot on Jizsm's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jizsm looking to score a takedown here. Riggs is defending well but Jizsm drives through and ends up in Riggs's guard.

Riggs manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riggs tries to pull guard but Jizsm holds him up against the cage and eventually Riggs drops back down to his feet.

Jizsm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Riggs connects with a high kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Riggs enables Jizsm to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Riggs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Riggs kicks Jizsm off and gets to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Stuart Riggs will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jizsm tries to close the distance and clinch but Riggs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jizsm clinches up with Riggs and pushes him back against the cage.
Jizsm is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Jizsm has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Riggs regains guard immediately.

Riggs pushes Jizsm off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Jizsm manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Riggs on his heels. He'll look to pass Riggs's guard now, I'm sure.

Riggs wants to get back to his feet but Jizsm is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jizsm stands up and waves to Riggs to follow him.
Riggs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jizsm tries to clinch but Riggs moves out of range.

Jizsm closes the distance and clinches.
Riggs looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Jizsm tries to land knees in the clinch but Riggs avoids the damage to the body.

Jizsm manages to break the clinch.
Riggs keeps the fight on the outside.

Riggs gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Riggs uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Stuart Riggs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jizsm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Riggs was covering up waiting for the punch and Jizsm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Riggs lands with a nice combination. Jizsm backs away looking to recover.

Riggs tries to sprawl but Jizsm drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Riggs has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jizsm is on him like a limpet, forcing Riggs back against the cage.

Riggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sloppy strikes from Jizsm. Those never looked like landing.
Jizsm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riggs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Riggs appears to be looking for a big counter.

and Riggs counters with a series of strikes. Jizsm will be more careful next time no doubt.
